In my 7th grade writing class, we were given prompts to inspire us to create stories. I can recall looking at the image on the projector, and the wheels in my head started turning. Taking my creativity beyond middle school, I daydreamed my way through high school, recording the stories I saw in my head. Writing stories inspired by images invoked a thrill in me that soared into adulthood.
I practiced the writing craft as a hobby. Knowing I wanted to take my stories further than my virtual library, I joined online writing groups, where I met a variety of writers all striving for the same thing: an audience. In these groups, I have met many writers, some who are indie authors of whom I have had the pleasure to read for. Though fantasy is my first love, I welcome all ideas of fiction into my head, and there is no telling what my imagination will unfold.
While most of my free time goes to writing, I do indulge in good books, videogames with my kids, and dinner date nights with my husband. Living down in good ol' southern Georgia, where the tea is sweet and everyone's "heart is blessed."
I hope yours will be too with what you find here 🖤
